RDM professionals, such as data stewards, research data managers and data curators, play a key role in realizing the goals of FAIR data and Open Science – and are thereby Agents of Change.
This workshop is for you if you are a Data Steward or RDM professional (e.g. Research Data Manager, Data Curator) from any discipline and if you want to be able to
In addition to existing programs such as Train the Trainer or technical training courses, this workshop fills a thematic gap with topics perceived as highly relevant by the data stewards and other RDM professionals surveyed in preparation of this course. This relevance is also reflected in current European initiatives (e.g. Minimal Viable Skillset for Data Stewards).
The workshop “Agents of Change” by Katarzyna Biernacka and Antje Manske offers you a unique value: two highly qualified experts with profound experience in research data management, open science, and change management combine their expertise. Katarzyna Biernacka, a PhD computer scientist with extensive experience in research data management and open science, and Antje Manske, a certified Change Practitioner with over 12 years of consulting experience, will equip you with practical, well-founded skills for managing change processes. With their many years of experience in designing and delivering training sessions and workshops, you can look forward to a dynamic and intensive workshop that provides a solid foundation to immediately apply what you’ve learned to your daily work.
The workshop is conducted in collaboration with Antje Manske – Consulting and Coaching and is based on the training material “Agents of Change – Skills & Strategies for RDM Professionals”, developed by KonsortSWD and Base4NFDI.
