This workshop is designed for professionals who aim to provide foundational knowledge in Research Data Management (RDM) within their organizations or professional settings. Participants will gain insights into essential RDM topics, including data management plans and the publication of research data. The training emphasizes didactic approaches and seminar structuring, covering essential teaching methods and practical tools. Each session includes practical exercises that help reinforce new knowledge, allowing participants to apply what they’ve learned directly to their own projects. Throughout the course, you’ll discover valuable tools and platforms that support effective data handling.

Developed through the BMBF-funded FDMentor project and further refined by the Sub-Working Group Training/Further Education of the DINI/nestor-WG Research Data, the Train-the-Trainer Concept on Research Data Management has become widely regarded as a foundational approach within the German RDM community.
